China 2007 - Bicycles and Burdens

Guangzhou, China: In this crowded city much of the commercial goods supplied to smaller merchants are still transported by people power - bicycles, scooters, motorcycles. Many of these pictures were taken from the window of a van as the driver made his way through the never-ending (so it seemed to me) traffic. Some of the pictures were taken in the port city on the Li Yang River, Yangzhou.
